RFQ Process & Response SLA
This page explains how buyer RFQs are validated, routed and monitored on Airspring. It is the operational contract for response quality and turnaround time.
1. RFQ intake and validation
We validate core fields (buyer identity, part number, application, quantity and requirements). Incomplete or ambiguous RFQs may be held for clarification before supplier routing.
2. Supplier matching
Matching considers category fit, OEM cross-reference relevance, incoterms, payment terms, export regions, and document verification level. RFQs are sent to a focused shortlist rather than broad broadcast.
3. Response SLA tracking
Supplier response times are monitored against the platform target of first response within 24 hours. Repeated non-response affects supplier visibility and trust scoring.
4. Technical verification before order
OEM cross-reference indicates potential interchangeability only. Final fitment must be confirmed with dimensions, load/stroke characteristics, mounting interface and connection type.

- Are RFQs broadcast to all suppliers?
- No. RFQs are routed to relevant suppliers based on product scope, trade capability, verification level and location fit to reduce noise and improve quote quality.
- Can buyers request certifications and test reports?
- Yes. Buyers can require ISO/IATF evidence, test reports, and export-compliance documents inside the RFQ details. Suppliers are expected to provide supporting files before order confirmation.
